Hannah Klinkman was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan where she studied ballet, jazz, and modern dance at Ballet Chelsea under Wendi DuBois and Nancy Giles for 7 years. After graduating high school, she studied dance and psychology at Grand Valley State University in the honors program for 2 years. She then moved to Ohio to become a trainee under the guidance of Timothy Lynch at Ballet Met Columbus. Ms. Klinkman’s favorite experiences so far are dancing in Edwaard Liang’s The Sleeping Beauty and being a part of Ballet Met and Cincinnati Ballet’s collaboration of Balanchine’s Who Cares? This is Hannah’s third season with Festival Ballet Providence and her first season as an apprentice with the company.
