Brenna DiFrancesco was born in Seekonk, Massachusetts. She began her training with the Brae Crest School of Ballet, official school of the State Ballet of Rhode Island, under the guidance of Herci Marsden before joining Festival Ballet as a Junior Company member. While in the Junior Company, Brenna performed Snow and Flower corps in The Nutcracker with the company and the Don Quoxite pas de deux in Festival Ballet Providence School’s Culmination performance. She attended summer programs at The Nutmeg Conservatory and Orlando ballet, and The School of American Ballet. Brenna also completed in the Youth American Grand Prix competition placing second in 2003 and first in 2004. Brenna joined the company as a Trainee in 2010. She has since performed many roles with the company, including Chinese, Lead Snow, and Lead Flower in The Nutcracker, Joan in Boyko Dossev’s Mother Goose Goes to Hollywood, Cygnets in Swan Lake, and soloist roles in George Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante and Rubies. This will be Brenna’s eighth season with Festival Ballet Providence.
